Professor Fred Pellegrini’s journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu started over 15 years ago. What began as training gradually became a long-term practice rooted in learning, patience, and respect for the process. Over the years, jiu-jitsu shaped his approach to challenges—on and off the mats—through consistency and attention to fundamentals.
As a black belt, Professor Fred focuses on clear instruction, strong fundamentals, and steady progress. He has experience teaching both children and adults, with particular attention to youth development. His background in psychology and psychoanalysis helps him understand how students learn, handle frustration, and grow through training.
In class, he works to create a structured and respectful environment where students can develop confidence, discipline, and solid jiu-jitsu. His goal is to support each student’s growth through patient, consistent work, treating jiu-jitsu as a lifelong practice rather than a short-term pursuit.

Stephanie Gaete
Program Director
Stephanie Gaete brings her passion and expertise to the role of Program Director at Gracie Barra Lindale. With three years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Stephanie has honed her skills both on and off the mats. Her dedication to the art is evident in her commitment to continuous learning and growth.

In addition to her extensive BJJ experience, Stephanie has also devoted one year to mastering self-defense techniques. This knowledge further enriches her ability to empower individuals with practical skills to protect themselves in real-life situations.

Jordan

Coach Jordan was born and raised in East Texas and began her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey two and a half years ago. From the start, she connected deeply with the values of jiu-jitsu, especially discipline, respect, and personal growth through consistent practice.
Alongside her training, Coach Jordan brings over three years of experience working in childcare. She has a natural passion for working with children and is especially attentive to their emotional, social, and developmental needs. Her background allows her to create a welcoming and supportive environment where young students feel safe, encouraged, and confident.
In class, Coach Jordan focuses on building strong foundations, positive habits, and self-confidence. Her goal is to help children grow not only as jiu-jitsu students, but also as individuals, through patience, structure, and care.

Eduardo Ferreira have three years of immersive training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Eduardo possesses a solid foundation of knowledge and technique. His extensive experience enables him to provide valuable insights and instruction to the new students.
As your coach, Eduardo's goal is to help you develop confidence, physical fitness, and self-defense skills while fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. He believes that Jiu-Jitsu is not just a martial art but a transformative journey that instills discipline, resilience, and personal growth.

LUIZ

Luiz is a dedicated teenage coach with a strong passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and competition. From a young age, he has shown discipline, focus, and a genuine love for learning and improving on the mat. As an active competitor, Luiz understands the importance of hard work, consistency, and respect—values he brings into every class he helps with.
Outside of Jiu-Jitsu, Luiz has a strong interest in technology and creativity. He enjoys working with 3D printers, designing and building projects, and exploring video games, which reflect his problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. This balance between athletic dedication and technical curiosity helps him connect naturally with younger students, inspiring them both on and off the mat.

Patrick Cronan

Coach Patrick's have the passion for teaching, dedication to athlete development, and commitment to personal growth align perfectly with our values. As we expand our horizons, we're thrilled to have him.

Patrick boasts an impressive 15 years of total wrestling experience, making him a true veteran of the sport. His journey includes 4 years of dedicated NCAA DII wrestling at Ouachita Baptist University from 2014 to 2018. During his college years, he honed his skills, developed strategic insights, and faced off against top-notch opponents.

He's on a mission to make the sport accessible, engaging, and enriching for young athletes in our community. His efforts align perfectly with Gracie Barra Lindale's commitment to holistic athlete development.
