Professor Dimitry Cabral Cavalcante is an esteemed professor in Jiu-Jitsu, known for his technical expertise, extensive professional experience, and commitment to the development of his students. With a comprehensive background in martial arts, exercise physiology, and sports nutrition, Professor Dimitry brings a holistic approach to his teachings.

Born on January 14, 1981, in Natal, Brazil, Professor Dimitry has dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence in Jiu-Jitsu. He holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Kimura Team. In addition to his martial arts training, Professor Dimitry has pursued higher education to complement his expertise. He earned a post-graduate degree in Exercise Physiology and specializing in personal training. He furthered his knowledge by obtaining a post-graduate degree in Sports Nutrition, equipping him with valuable insights into the relationship between nutrition and athletic performance.

Throughout his professional journey, Professor Cavalcante has had the privilege of working with esteemed athletes, including UFC fighters such as Renan Barao, Alan Nuguete, Jussier Formiga, Rodolfo Vieira and Douglas de Silva. His expertise in personal training and sports nutrition has contributed to the success and development of these elite athletes.

Professor Cavalcante's passion for Jiu-Jitsu extends beyond teaching. He has also served as a referee for prestigious competitions such as the IBJJF World Master, Pan No-Gi, and New York Open. He has also officiated matches in the Jiu-Jitsu World League and AJP competitions, further showcasing his expertise and dedication to the sport.

Stephanie Gaete brings her passion and expertise to the role of Program Director at Gracie Barra Lindale. With three years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Stephanie has honed her skills both on and off the mats. Her dedication to the art is evident in her commitment to continuous learning and growth.

In addition to her extensive BJJ experience, Stephanie has also devoted one year to mastering self-defense techniques. This knowledge further enriches her ability to empower individuals with practical skills to protect themselves in real-life situations.

Recognizing the importance of cultivating the next generation of martial artists, Stephanie has spent two years instructing kids' classes. Her ability to connect with young learners, coupled with her patience and enthusiasm, creates an engaging and nurturing environment. Stephanie instills discipline, self-confidence, and respect in her young students while instigating a love for the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Eduardo Ferreira

Eduardo Ferreira have three years of immersive training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Eduardo possesses a solid foundation of knowledge and technique. His extensive experience enables him to provide valuable insights and instruction to the new students.


As your coach, Eduardo's goal is to help you develop confidence, physical fitness, and self-defense skills while fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. He believes that Jiu-Jitsu is not just a martial art but a transformative journey that instills discipline, resilience, and personal growth.

Austin Holifield

Coach Austin's journey began on the wrestling mats, where he honed his skills, work ethic, and love for the grappling arts. 


After high school, Coach Austin ventured into the world of MMA in Abilene, Texas, where he dedicated seven years to mastering the complexities of mixed martial arts. These years were marked by rigorous training, countless hours in the gym, and a deep exploration of various martial arts disciplines.

Coach Austin's story at Gracie Barra is one of continuous growth and dedication. He fell in love with both teaching and learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His journey has come full circle as he imparts his wealth of knowledge to our students, guiding them through the intricacies of BJJ.

Patrick Cronan

Coach Patrick's have the passion for teaching, dedication to athlete development, and commitment to personal growth align perfectly with our values. As we expand our horizons, we're thrilled to have him.

Patrick boasts an impressive 15 years of total wrestling experience, making him a true veteran of the sport. His journey includes 4 years of dedicated NCAA DII wrestling at Ouachita Baptist University from 2014 to 2018. During his college years, he honed his skills, developed strategic insights, and faced off against top-notch opponents.

He's on a mission to make the sport accessible, engaging, and enriching for young athletes in our community. His efforts align perfectly with Gracie Barra Lindale's commitment to holistic athlete development.
